This Privacy Policy explains how Dunamai Media Enterprises, Inc. (collectively, “we,” “us,” or the “Company”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit any website operated under the dunamai.media or dunamaimedia.com domains and their respective subdomains (the “Sites”).

1. Who we are

Dunamai Media Enterprises, Inc. operates a portfolio of free, browser-based utility tools (calculators, converters, productivity utilities). For privacy-related questions, contact us at solutions@dunamaimedia.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide directly: if you contact us, we receive whatever you put in the message (name, email, message body).
  • Information collected automatically by our servers: standard web logs including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you visit, the dates and times of your visits, and the referring URL.
  • Information collected via cookies and similar technologies: see Section 3 below.
  • Information processed locally in your browser only: several of our tools (text counters, image converters, PDF tools, calculators, etc.) process your content entirely in your browser. That content is not transmitted to our servers.

3. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use the following cookies and similar technologies on our Sites:

  • Essential cookies: required for the Sites to function (e.g., remembering your saved tool preferences in your browser’s localStorage). These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies: we may use self-hosted Matomo Analytics to understand which pages and tools are most useful. Matomo runs on infrastructure we control and does not share data with third parties.
  • Advertising cookies: our Sites display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Sites and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process information:

  • Google AdSense — advertising. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to our Sites and/or other sites on the internet. See Google’s advertising policies.
  • SiteGround — web hosting (server logs).
  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection (basic request metadata).
  • CoinGecko — live cryptocurrency price data, called from your browser when you use the Crypto Converter or related tools. Only the price-symbol query is sent.
  • frankfurter.dev — daily currency exchange rates, called from your browser when you use the Forex Converter.
  • publicnode.com / llamarpc.com — public Ethereum RPC endpoints, called from your browser by the Gas Tracker tool.
  • blockchain.info / mempool.space — public Bitcoin network data, called by the Mining Calculator.

Each of the above third parties has its own privacy policy that governs how it uses any information it receives.

5. How we use information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Sites and tools; understand usage patterns and improve our tools; serve advertising; respond to your inquiries; comply with legal obligations.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers (hosting, analytics, advertising) as described above.
  • To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Dunamai Media Enterprises, Inc., our users, or others.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • European Economic Area (GDPR): the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; the right to restrict or object to processing; the right to data portability; and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  • California (CCPA / CPRA): the right to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
  • Other jurisdictions: rights as provided by your local laws.

8. Children’s privacy

Our Sites are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Data retention

We retain server logs for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. Information you submit via the contact form is retained as long as needed to respond, and then deleted on a routine schedule.

10. International transfers

Our servers and third-party providers operate primarily in the United States. If you access our Sites from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage of dunamai.media for at least 30 days.
